When in Kuala Lumpur, it's helpful to know the location of the KL Sentral LRT terminal from there you'll be able to reach the city's famous spots.If you're arriving to LCCT Airport, buses to KL Sentral are available near the food court it's a 5 minute walk from the airport's exit. It's in the left side. The bus ride will cost RM 8.
The Batu Caves. Climb the 272 steps to reach the limestone caves.
From KL Sentral station, look for the commuter train, MTR. Buy the your ticket from the counter it will cost RM 2. Once inside the MTR station, go to platform 6 or just look for the platform going to Batu Caves. It's not that difficult to locate. Once, in Batu Caves station, take the exit and walk towards tha big golden statue.
Notes:
There are three lanes going up the caves use the lane labeled public.
Afternoons tend to be hot so it's advisable to start early or when the sun is not that high.
It's also helpful if you play "eye of the tiger" in your head. Go Rocky!
China Town. Well, Chinese stores and Chinese food.
From KL Sentral station, ride the LRT to Pasar Seni Station. It will cost RM 1. It's a 10 minute walk from the station. Look for Petaling Street.
Petronas Towers. The landmark of Kuala Lumpur. You should at least drop by if you're visiting the city.
Ride the LRT and get off KLCC Station.
